 The coal shoots (or coal drops) at Halifax station. Bottom-door wagons were discharged into bunkers beneath. They fell out of use in the 1960s but the structure still stands, derelict. |

| Halifax East signal box. Opened 1884 with 70 lever frame. Levers removed 30th March 1969 when neighbouring cabins closed and centralisation of Halifax and Dryclough areas fell under this cabin. "IFS" panel installed, renamed "Halifax". Still open at time of writing. Due to close 2017.
