This isn't Billingham House, which was built nearby, but wasn't built until 1959, which is after this photo was taken. Billingham House was built on the triangular bit of land on the other side of Belasis Lane, where the football & sports grounds are in this photo. After closure in the mid 1990's, Billingham House was finally demolished in 2012 after many years of neglect & legal problems with the owners. The pin-pointed building is still standing. |
