Pins

Aldwych station Kingsway Subway. The section from Theobalds Road to here opened on 24th February 1906, and was part of the first LCC electric route in North London. The second section opening throughout to the Embankment, next to Waterloo Bridge, opened on 10th April 1908. Originally constructed for single deck cars (F class) was closed, and built higher for use by standard class trams, reopening in 1931.
