I am unable to add pins but- from Rochester- first hanger is No. 1 shop. This had m/c & press shops plus the detail section( where I worked 1946)+ heat treatment ( salt & normalising baths).Next were the offices- accounts,etc. The hanger with slipways was No. 3 shop; final assembly & launch. Canteen was upstairs over buildings behind No. 1 shop. |
