Chemical works. Johnson brothers (John & Thomas) bought the site in early 19th century when the original owners defaulted on loans. Became part of United Alkali Ltd. Once had a 300ft chimney, demolished in 1931.

New houses on Lambsickle Lane. Originally planning permission for 18 homes passed.
