Recorded location of a 2ndWW Roadblock. Possibly indicated by the blocks still being stored at either side of the road?

The Beverley & Barmston Drain. Still draining land from the north of Hull.

Sutton Road lift bridge. This bridge, which was provided to allow new trawler hulls to be towed from the builder's yard in Beverley to be completed in Hull, still exists but the need to build trawlers does not.

Queen's Road, with the Cottingham Drain flowing along it's south side at this time. The drain has nowadays been diverted underground.
