This building is Farm Street School. Looking in the direction of Hockley Brook, there is a bomb site courtesy of the German Luftwaffer during the war. They were looking for the Lucas factory in Great King Street, but I think this is the nearest they got.

I think this is the former Lucas factory & HQ at Great King St, north of B'ham city centre.

There isn't much of this area left standing now - New John St runs bottom left to middle right.
