approximate location the Old Magpies Public House, on the A4 Bath Road; Constructed pre-dating the Three Magpies Public House built C 18th, to the east of this particular location. ----- The Old Magpies PH demolished by 1951.

The Three Magpies Public House. --------- Built C 18th as coaching house on A4 Bath Road. Had previously been called The Three Pigeons.

Sipson House. -------------- A Georgian residence that had decayed into a ruined condition by the 1970's. Fully restored in the 1980's for use as office accomodation, it later became known as Sipson Court. [ Grade 11 listed ]
