| Guardroom, from where several naughty Boy Entrants escaped, I am not sure of the actual date but between Sept- Dec 1949
The boys had been stealing booze from the Sergeants Mess on the site that was used for RAF reservists who where billeted there during their annual training.
It was said that they had been put into the cells in small groups and one lot found out that the back wall of the wooden cells was easy to push outwards which they did and scattered out into the Somerset countryside. |
