| The Great Lake. The small island in the middle has a clock tower which was used to time the half hour boat sessions.
It took its water from a branch canal to Stockport. When this was closed and drained in the seventies, the lake lost its water, was drained, filled in, and a ten pin bowling alley erected here. |
