This is another view of the Lobitos Refinery. It later became Burmah Oil.

I think that this picture is of the old Burmah Oil Refinery. Originally the Shell Refinery was only adjacent to the River Mersey. EAW008691 shows the old Shell refinery and the start of the expansion to the south of the railway line. It also shows in the distance the Burmah Oil refinery and it's access (Brittania Road) to the A5117.

Also the tank farm directly north of the bridge are still there.
