Pins
 Manchester and Salford Junction Canal which joined the Rochdale Canal to the River Irwell. The canal passed through a long tunnel to reach the Irwell going underneath Central Station and the Great Northern Warehouse and eventually under the Granada TV studios. Much of the tunnel still exists but is not accessible to the public. |
