To clarify, this is not Victoria Mill, as titled, but East Hill Mill. Their had been a mill on the site for many years before the current on was built in 1901 and was the reason for the construction of Lord's Cut, that part of the Great Stour which fed the waterwheel. The site of Victoria Mill is now occupied by an Aldi store and the Curious Brew Brewery. |
