' This road, later known as Kennedy Way, was used by traffic to and from the Celestine mine and works situated about half a mile from Newmans. A little farther along was a large shedded complex known as The Sea Transport store depot and for many years displayed lines of sea anchors. The depot was accessed by road and also by rail. Sidings were in use alongside the main railway line from Bristol and South Wales to Paddington. '
