In the '70s this building was Latrobes Stationers, round the back down the alley was Latrobes toy shop. If I remember correctly it was run by a brother and sister of that name, the sister running the Stationers and the brother running the toy shop.
When it closed my father viewed the property and told me that part of the internal structure was made from an old ship's mast.
In the '80s it was Our Price Records. '
