    Church of Edward the Confessor.

Thomas of Brotherton, 1st Earl of Norfolk was born at the Manor House in Brotherton. His Mother Margaret of France was staying at Pontefract Castle and went into Labour early. His Father was King Edward 1st (Hammer of the Scots)
