Glasgow paddocks was active from 1866 to 1957. After relocation of horse sales to Newmarket by auctioneers Tattershalls, the site (along with the housing in the foreground) was cleared entirely in the early 1960s and redeveloped as Doncaster College. After a second degeneration in the 2000s, the site is now the Law Courts.
