This was a tough one. This photo is taken at Olton, near the Land rover factory between Sheldon and Solihull, West Midlands. The view is looking South. The Google Earth 1945 view helped me to identify the location. |

These are Arcon Mk5 prefabs (esigned by architects working at ARchitectural CONsultants group). Am slowly web-searching for prefab estate locations (39,000 units were built). So far unsuccessful in matching the brick houses & road junction in the top right of photograph. |

Almost a car free zone! I've only spotted two. As to where this is the adjoining photos are of Smethwick and Sheffield so it could be anywhere in either of those areas. |
