....until it was burnt down in 2003. It is a listed building (Grade II), but had a new owner, claiming he wanted to renovate it (before the fire), then seemingly destroyed it so he could apply to build flats on the site, as building was too badly damaged. Building and site is still a derelict wreck.

If you actually knew the area, you'd know this used to be called The Master Robert. Also, the shops/flats over the road was (maybe still is) called Noble Corner.
