The southern portal of Hunting Butts tunnel on the GWR Cheltenham to Stratford Upon Avon line which was a little over 20 years old at the time this was taken. This short tunnel now marks the southern end of the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway.

The Great Western Railway station at Malvern Road. Now long gone but I remember walking past the goods yard when I was a boy and seeing the goods wagons in the sidings to the left of the image.

This line went via Winchcombe and Honeybourne to Stratford-on-Avon. Closed from 1976 onwards. However, from Cheltenham Racecourse station to Toddington has been reopened as the Gloucester-Warwickshire Railway, a heritage line, which is currently extending to Broadway and hope eventually to reach Honeybourne again!
