My late father was based in Clay Cross, Derbyshire for a short time in Jan / Feb of 1942. He was based in "The New Drill Hall" where he underwent training after being enlisted to the Army in December 1941. I am trying to establish the location of this building. Also he spent time at the YMCA while stationed in Clay Cross. Again, would anyone know where this building was located, and whether it still exists. |
