Aidan, good point but Raheen Park is under construction which would verify the year is 1953. Also, I checked the image reference numbers. This batch XAW052201-XAW052215 is dated '1953' but the previous batch up to XAW052186 is dated 6th September 1953 and the subsequent images from XAW052216 are dated 8th September 1953, so it is likely that the batch including this image was taken on Monday 7th September 1953, +or- 1 day. The concrete cross on Bray Head should be visible but its silhouette may be masked by the grey background. |
