View is looking south from above Britannia Road A650 in Morley. West Yorkshire. The present day M62 crosses the foreground of this scene. I shall fill in the detail but everything appears to fit.

Thanks Class31, that's great - it's a difficult one but there are important key features that tie-in with the OS mapping that pre-dates and post-dates the image.

I am now looking both at West Yorkshire and Tyneside for this one. This is a photograph that we should be able to identify but so far we have drawn a blank. Perhaps we should copy it out generally to English Heritage members. Someone must know where this is.
