Set amongst the modern sewage treatment works, the Victorian Pumping Station is a magnificent working steam museum. My Grandfather worked here, servicing the beam engines; four beam engines by Gimson of Leicester 1885, Five boilers Thompson 1936-37, Steam driven workshop, Forge and a 1930's dynamo house with early (1890's) Crompton dynamo driven by a Buxton and Thornley steam engine (from the Claymills website) http://www.claymills.org.uk/
