An excellent spot. I had been looking but I had been searching further east which is why I couldn't get it to fit.

It appears from Wikipedia, that this will be the last Royal Engineers "bridging" camp on this site. A more permanent site was built at Wyke Regis the next year. (Where I did my bridge training)
