Location of two cottages occupied by employees of the sewage works. In 1939, according to the war census, Cottage 1 was occupied by George Field and his family. George was the sewage works "Engine Tenter", responsible for operation of the steam engine(s). Cottage 2 was occupied by Edward Edwards and his family. Edward was the "Working Foreman" of the sewage works.
