The line is the original London to Birmingham opened 1837. After Brum I thought it went to Manchester, so why West Coast?

At Crewe, a line branches off to Manchester. The main line goes on to Glasgow. The main reason for the name "West Coast" is to differentiate it from the "East Coast" line which runs from Kings Cross to Edinburgh.

I think that this building was also incorporated as St Theresa's independent RC girls' school in about 1967, until it was relocated prior to its demolition.

Originally named "Pinner" station, then "Pinner and Hatch End" station after the Metropolitan Railway opened it's Pinner station in the late 19th Century, then "Hatch End (for Pinner)" in 1920, and finally just "Hatch End" in 1956.
