Hullo! If I've interpreted correctly for the angle of the oblique, this building is around about where Turpin Way is now. Thanks for getting the location of this image, we'll update the catalogue entry with your new data and the corrected information will appear here in due course. Yours, Katy Britain from Above Cataloguing Team Leader |

Well done christhewino for getting this one which has eluded everyone for months. I agree your location of Wallington. I was wrong with my suggestion of west of Kingston on Thames. I am so pleased that you have solved another of the unlocated photos. Once again well done! |

I have spent some time looking at this image. High quality property in leafy suburbia but there is no sign of a railway line. One of the closest photos to this image numerically is of the Hurst Park racecourse. I expect that we will eventually find that it is somewhere west of Kingston on Thames. I can't see any water features. The churches and public buildings do not stand out. The street layout is not unusual. After three months in the public eye it is still a mystery. Good luck. |

I am very confident that this is Wallington in Surrey. I have added some pins to the image. |
