Stowe Ironworks light railway bridge, no trace of it now as it was filled in in the early seventies. This is where the line from the now disused quarry at Stowe branched off the line to the ironworks and passed under the main line and continued to the canal, the wharf no longer exists.

LMS Princess Royal 6207 "Princess Arthur of Connaught" The accident happened on 21 September 1951 due to a defective front bogie on the locomotive. Fifteen people were killed and 35 were injured, the wreckage lay for months before recovery was begun. She appeared in the 1930s classic documentary film No. 6207 A Study In Steel which showed the production of the locomotive from molten steel to the finished product.
