 Junction of Easthope Road and Lion Meadow; nowadays known for the close proximity of the Mayfair Community Centre and the Co-op Supermarket. In this view it appears that the location was utilised for a cluster of prefabs, very typical of the immediate post-war period when there was a shortage of housing. Since then local authority housing proliferates in this vicinity, providing solid housing stock for the local community. |

| Burway Road - narrow and steep - goes to the top of the Long Mynd and connects with the The Portway and on passing the Midland Gliding Club drops even more steeply down to Asterton. Very scenic! |
