The Wick, this was an area that was sold off for Londoners for weekend homes etc, Google plotlands will give you more info, there were more plotlands towards Laindon/Basildon, when I was a child (1960/1070s) it was almost deserted, lots of old derelect houses to play in, this picture was taken before it was really that well inhabited as it shows fields, when I played there it was all trees with un-made roads, now sadly it is a modern estate, progress! '
