' Ochtertyre (Moss) Wood, looking rather like a large letter E. This was another key clue in solving this image. Attached is a map (year roughly 1950s) aligned to be in same direction as image, and showing Ochtertyre Wood looking like the letter E. 'My' conspicuous field is marked at bottom of map. All this should eventually help line up to the distant hill and so identify it correctly. '
