' The Marine Drive, built as a footpath in 1858 and as a carriageway in 1878. It is a toll road, and is one way for the first three and a half miles, the final mile is two way to give access to residents on Llys Helig. Due to rock falls the Marine Drive is sometimes made bidirectional for short periods. Poor signposting at the West Shore end also encourages drivers to drive the wrong way from time to time so always drive slowly! as the road is narrow and there are many hidden bends. There is a good pedestrian footway. There is a cafe about half way round. '
