Lyme Regis station, terminus of the branch line from Axminster. The line opened on the 24th August 1903. The line was run and part owned by the London & South Western Railway (LSWR), which took the line over completely in 1907. The last day of operation was the 27th November 1965. The station building was subsequently removed to the Mid-Hants Railway (the Watercress Line) and was rebuilt at Alresford station. See 'Branch Line to Lyme Regis' (Mitchell and Smith, Middleton Press, 1987). '
