' The Northcote Arms public house. During the 60s and early 70s, this was the venue for Farx Club, which hosted bands such as Led Zeppelin, Uriah Heep, The Groundhogs, Mott the Hoople etc. It later closed down and became a care home. Hard to imagine now as it is a derelict and ruinous eyesore populated by rats and drug addicts, awaiting demolition. '
