' East Hill Mill - H.S.Pledge & Sons Ltd. Built in 1901. Now a nightclub. The waterwheel remains in situ. H.S.Pledge & Sons Ltd. also owned the Victora Mill to the west of Ashford railway station. This building however burnt down in the 1980s. The site has been levelled and remains derelict. '
