The present day 74 Aston Street in the accompanying image. My ancesters lived in the original number 74 which was most probably part of the war damaged properties. The LCC seem to have built several of these types of terraces and they can be seen to the left of this pin. This whole area slightly south of this pin and extending north as far as the Mile End road was designated as the Ocean Estate. '
