' 7-17 Church Street Grade 2 listed - English Heritage Building ID: 113711 A range of Cl9 red brick almshouses. A plaque on the west end states that the almshouses were built about 1400 and rebuilt in 1869. The ends are gabled with barge boards carved with roses, horses heads and pelicans. The village bus stop is outside. '
