Manchester Mayfield Station.
Acted as a "relief" station for Piccadilly.
Opened 1910.
Hit by a parachute mine on 22 December 1940
In 1960, the station was closed to passengers.
In 1970 converted into a parcels depot. In 1986 it was permanently closed to all services when Parcelforce moved to road transport only.
Has been used for various films and tv programs (eg The Last Train, Prime Suspect).
Much was demolished in 2013 for safety.
