Sloane Square Underground Station with roofed platforms and no office space above the entrance hall.
The station was refurbished in the late 1930s and given a glazed roof. Sadly the roof was destroyed in wartime bombing and was never replaced.
Seen from the platforms, the brick retaining walls still (2014) show the base line of the roof structure. '
