' The little Bridge built for the Tennant's Chemical Works rail line to get their products to & from the Staiths. That bridge was made from massive timbers & some of us kids played inside clambering through the timbers. The line went across the riverside road which was probably part of James St/Prince Consort Rd. That road is still there today at the bottom of Prince Consort Rd leading to the Marina. This is a rare photo of that Bridge & it's on my www.oldtyneside.co.uk website. '
