The Ellison House Hotel that was on the corner of Prince Consort Rd & Lyon St. The only photo of it is on my www.oldtyneside.co.uk website & it is a newspaper cutting from Oct 7th 1950 when the Theatre Royal next door burned down & the Hotel was extensively damaged. It re-opened but closed again not many years later. '
