This was where I lived from 1949 until 1968 - 27 Knella Road with my family: Tony (d 1995)& Doreen Smith (d 1996) and brothers Peter (b 1949) and John (b 1952). Bob Smith (b 1948). After all these years of living in Canada (1968) I can still name most of the tenants along this road but the road was demolished in the 80's and rebuilt to modern standards. As of 2013 the cherry and "conker" trees were still in place though. Great memories - hats off to the folks who are doing this project. '
