A glimpse of three of Hebburn's lakes. The first one was known as 'Sandy Bottom'. The one on left nearest the Park railings was 'The second Lake'. The one to the right was 'The Island Lake' as it was covered in bushes & shrubbery where Mute Swans & various ducks nested. The lake out of shot & a bit further east was simply known as 'The First Lake'. '
