' Wood Lane Station on the Central London Railway. This was the western end of the system and the railway ran round the depot in a loop which opened in Mat 1920 and closed in November 1947. The Central Line, as it became known, originally opened in 1900, with coaches hauled by electric locomotives. It was extended to West Action in 1920 and a new Wood Lane Station built on the extension and opened in November 1947 '
