' Lesbourne Hall PH was renamed The Desert Rat on 6th April 1952. Now known as The Venture Inn. The bottom line of the advertisement on the side of the building is Brown Ales but I can't make out the rest. Sausage, chips and beans for 25p was pretty good in 1973. '
