' A 19th century building renamed Alexandra Hall, after Queen Alexandra 1902. It has been used for various function over the years, including as a music venue, in 1961 the Beatles played there, it has been a temporary school, and a magistrates court as well as council offices. It was demolished in 2003 and was replaced with a block of 20 flats built in keeping with the original and it has been named Alexandra Court. '
