This is the old skew bridge over the Tinsley Canal at Jordan.. I once walked under this in around the mid-1950s. The stench in the area from the sewage works was awful and there was industrial stuff everywhere. The bridge abutments on both sides of the canal remain, the one on the south side contains a metal door.. !
I can not find any ground-level pictures of this bridge with freight moves crossing it, ONLY, the ones here taken from the air. I cna not also find out when the bridge was demolished, sometime in the 1960/70s I would guess...
