' Whitley Bay Congregational Church. The building was bought by Whitley Bay Baptist Church in 1976, at which point their own building in Oxford Street was sold to an Elim Pentecostal Church. The Baptists initially installed a baptistry at the front of the chapel and subsequently redeveloped the upper portion of the Livingstone Hall, the ancillary building to the rear of the church, for holiday residential accommodation, catering for churches and youth groups. It refurbished the main chapel in late 2018, removing the original pews and re-configuring the entrance to provide greater accessibility and better toilets. '
