' The approximate location of Immingham Western Jetty station. This was a temporary structure to enable services to run, notably for workmen, until the permanent Immingham Dock station was built. NB: there were two terminating stations named Immingham Dock. The conventional steam and later diesel passenger trains called at "Immingham Dock" on the western side of the dock entrance. The electric trams to Grimsby called at "Immingham Dock" on the eastern side of the dock entrance. Both stations were easily visible from each other, but were never connected. The trams ceased in 1961, conventional trains stuttered on until 1969. '
